Community Gardens

The benefits of joining a community garden go well beyond being able to enjoy your own local, freshly grown produce.  Being a community gardener is also a great opportunity to meet your fellow neighbors, whether its while tending to your own plot, volunteering for maintenance and special projects, or socializing at our summer picnics.  Even if you’ve never gardened before, a community garden can be a great place to learn!  So what are you waiting for?

Each raised be may be leased from March 1st to October 31st (with optional extended growing season from November 1st to February 28th) for $10 per bed.  Each lease includes access to the amenities listed below, with equal access to each garden’s amenities regardless of lease location.  Complete information, including the following documents, may be found at the Shared Google Drive Folder.  In addition to this resource, there is a Facebook group called Troy Hill Community Gardens.
