Updates from Adam Ravenstahl’s Office:
- Call their office at 412-321-5523 for Unemployment Questions
City of Pittsburgh Office of Community Affairs:
- Yard Debris Pickup is November 14th
- 2021 Operating Budget Survey closes the week of October 12
- Department of City Planning has a digital worksheet they are sharing. They are looking for feedback city-wide on land use.
- Hard-to-Recycle Event on October from 9 am – 1 pm in Pittsburgh Project parking lot.
- Cowley Rec Center Meeting will be held October 28th. Please participate!
Troy Hill Citizens Updates:
- Garbage Olympics was a big success! Our volunteers picked up over 20 bags of trash from around the neighborhood.
- Troy Hill Road Stairs down to 28 – these have been closed but people are still using them. Sally from Bobby Wilson’s office will follow up.
- Board Seats for 2021 are open! If you know someone who would like to get involved put them in touch with us!
- We will also host 2020 End of Year Elections – and all members of Troy Hill Citizens are invited to vote on the Board Members who will occupy seats for 2021.
- Election on November 3rd – all polling places are operating as normal! Grace Lutheran will be doing Taco Tuesday again afterwards!
- Troy Hill Community Gardens are wrapping up for the season. Thanks to everyone who participated.
